Currently watching this, and so far, I think Two-Face may be the episode. What do you think is the best episode?

Off the top of my head, 'The Man Who Killed Batman' is one of my favorites. As I child it was my first deep look into the Joker's psyche, and how he only really cares about staying locked in an eternal struggle with his nemesis. And the ending, when Batman sends Sid the Squid off to prison with a knowing wink, always reminds me why this is my favorite portrayal of Batman; he may beat criminals to a pulp, but he understands their motivations and is not unsympathetic with them.

It's pretty difficult to narrow it down a single best episode. I also was very fond of Two-Face, and I think if I had to pick one that would be my choice as well.

Heart of Ice and I dont think its particularly close. Its gotta be the episode and had the largest impact on Batman as a franchise as well.

Also love Beware the Grey Ghost.

These are all good choices. I don't remember the exact title of the episode but there was one where Poison Ivy made her own family that I thought was actually kind of sad.

The two-part Two-Face episodes are my favorite, but I have to put in a nod for Heart of Ice.

I got the DVDs, but my brother and I are rewatching the Superman TAS DVDs first. However, I remember reading that Heart of Ice was universally considered the best episode and didn't it also win an Emmy?

Heart of Ice is the one that always comes to mind for me, but I haven't watched the show since the DVDs first came out ages ago.
