tl;dr:

  • New character Octavo (plays like Melody from Necrodancer I believe, with the Golden Lute as his weapon)
  • New story mode for Octavo
  • Dungeon mode basically replaces the overworld with a randomly generated dungeon, like the original Crypt of the Necrodancer.


Couldn't have released it at a worse time tbh, I'm in a Pokemon groove rn

Theres apparently been more characters datamined, including Aria (who has a voice actor credited in the credits I believe)

Plus alternate soundtracks, like there were in the original game

Octavo was datamined when the game came out which leads me to believe this could be happening
