Then we got two huskies and it was a frustrating learning experience but theyre great once you nuclear holocaust proof your house. the cats on the other hand. I wish they would disappear. Despite having multiple scratching posts next to couches they still attack my couches. They even started scratching door trims on one of my doors. Dogs are much more playful, a bigger personality, and protective. The bigger personality isn't always a plus though (they can be needy), cats play it cool. Barky dogs are also a big negative for me. (dog drool is also not cool) I'd still give the edge to dogs, but I love cats very much. Walk em like once or twice a day, let em go to the bathroom a couple more times, feed, water, n play. They take up like maybe an hour or two of the day with "chores" if I count the walks which I would be doing with or without them.
