The cheap gym I'm thinking about going to is a 24 hour fitness with a membership from Costco for like $16/month but it's in a dangerous area with a lot of shady people but since it's so cheap you got shady ass people as well as "good" people too so it's busy as fuck with only 4 flat benches, 2 squat racks and other stuff but the benches and squat racks are the major problems and almost always have a wait line. You got a 25% chance of getting your car broken into if you go at night and even at the day time. The expensive gym is $50/month but is in a super safe city and barely any crime and has better and more equipment than 24 hour fitness. This is a tough ass decision please help me out. Both gyms are 10 minutes or less away from my house.

Sounds like itd be more expensive to go to the shady one if you account for theft and/or murder.

Can you afford the good gym without being pressed for cash?

Me personally, I can't seem to get motivated enough to go to a cheap gym and do a good workout on my own. Crossfit gyms are relatively expensive, but it makes it much easier to get a really good workout in every time, imo.

I pay $65 a month for a gym, but I don't regret it. Much nicer than basic-ass cookie cutter gyms that cost like $15 a month.

Go for the nice one unless it breaks the bank.
