That sucks honestly, I had my pipes freeze a few years ago and it was a miserable experience. Thankfully no pipes burst from it, but we were going to a hotel to shower and whatnot.

Luckily it was just the pipe sticking out of the ground and nothing inside burst Plumber friend talked me through shutting everything off (I thought the valves were all shut but apparently one of them wasn't) and said not to worry about anything until spring time and he'll come fix it for me.
