Midsommar was really good, but slighty disturbing. Haunt, Us, Ready or Not are good horror flicks.
Code 8 was a very surprisingly great sci fi movie, so was the new Bladerunner if you haven't seen it. Joker, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Yesterday, Ad Astra, Parasite, Shazam, and Crawl are some more recs for movies I liked a lot this year. --- Ten million dollars on a losing campaign, Twenty million starving and writhing in pain. knocked out a few more.
hereditary- pretty good, toni collette was great. only knock was it was a pretty slow burn until the last few minutes then it dumps an explaination of the ending a little too fast. high life- this was a nice surprise. weird, but good weird. --- Minimal, yet feature rich. ... Copied to Clipboard!
