When I had an ear ache, my mom or dad used to light a cigarette, put the filter side in my ear, their mouth on the lighted end, and blow cigarette smoke in my ear.

And it did ease the pain. But man it was a weird remedy.

Also when I was a kid and I got dirt in my eye I could not remove, my mom used to put her mouth over my eye and lick it out >_>
That worked as well.
