Claire A, Hard mode. I have 26 pistol bullets, one grenade, no healing items, six shots of that yellow shock rifle thing, am currently in the labs trying to get the test tube filled with the plant chemical. I keep getting instantly chomped and grabbed and I know that I can do much better than this if I restarted with a new understanding of how to pace ammo and what areas to clear and to not.

You're so close to the end though, you should at least try to power through to see if it's possible. I haven't played on hard mode, but I remember there being a ton of ammo in the room during the Wiliam Birkin fight on standard

I just got clipped by the two lickers. I got the frequency modulartor, but I need to go back down and fight 3 zombies and two lickers with 18 pistol bullets and 3 shock rifle rounds remaining.

This is going to suck. I have red health and no healing items.

You can walk past lickers. Walk slow. As soon as they perk up and start following you just keep talking.

EDIT: If youre talking about the room I think youre talking about to go freeze the plant poison...yeah youre screwed. You gotta kill
those zombos before you trigger the lickers.

Did it boys, beat the game with A ranking. I guess I died too many times.It says I beat it in five hours too. Damn this game is short.

*The lickers were the hardest part of the labs. I cut the legs off all the zombies with my few SMG rounds I found in the box, and killed the lickers with headshots on my remaining spark rifle. Hardest part of the outro for me.

*Memorized Birkin's attack pattern and where all the loot in the arena was. Brought R+B herbs to absorb more damage and took him out with the revolver rounds in the arena and ten acid rounds I had in my box.

*Escaping was no big deal, three plant guys. The arena and area after gave me 80 pistol bullets so that was that.

*Last birkin fight came by a surprise, but the minigun made short work of him.

I ended the game with 0 ammo and 0 healing supplies, truly down to the wire.

Ranking is tied to time and nothing else though I have my doubts you beat it on hardcore based on what you said but if you actually did...congrats my man.
