Businesses as well as individuals need accountants. When you get big enough, you need help counting all the cash.

Accounting really doesn't have a lot to do with calculating or being a human calculator. It's mostly critical thinking and advising your clients.

I initially got into accounting because Im great at math/number crunching and like money.

I'm going for a business degree while I also study English.
The truth is that people in business school are human robots. Not in the sense that they don't have social skills but they all have the same vague party-goer personality, watching sports on their phones during lectures, and they chose business school from a combination of their parents' encouragement, wanting a high paying job, and having no inspiration to do anything else. --- ...
