I just couldn't get into nioh. Will I like Sekiro?

Sekiro is probably the most aggressive souls game. As in, you can't just rely on dodging to get good. You actively have to deflect/party as well as occasionally jump. It is also kind of the most tactical souls game. Whereas in most souls it's "alright what kind of bullshit is trying to ambush me around the corner", you can actually plan encounters or even make them easier by jumping around and scouting the area out, maybe even stealthing a few dudes.

That being said, it lacks the variety of weaponry that Nioh has. Although you do get prosthetic tools, main combat is focused on just your sword compared to the options Nioh gives you. Also, there is no fashion in Sekiro.

I'm a couple of hours into Nioh and loving it so far. I haven't really felt like there's been much challenge yet though?

Sekiro was just too much for me, I can't parry to save my life (literally)

Nioh on the first run isn't too bad. You don't have much challenge outside of one or two bosses.
It gets harder in ng+ and beyond.
what was the last boss you beat

I found Nioh harder because it has a stamina system, which I despise in games.

In Nioh you can just cheese god tier items off corpses, or grind some levels
