It's been consistent for 10 years and I grew to it being my norm. I got a good support circle that show concern...no matter how much I tell them not to. I am a guy btw. So I have that silly pride to try and still be a big toughie in my own broken 130 pound right >_>. You gotta live by your own standards tho. Constantly trying to live by others peoples standards will drive you wild. Especially cause you never have all the context. But as I said, I do appreciate that positive reinforcement.
