This will be interesting... I essentially get $5500 to move from Austin, TX to San Antonio, TX.

$3000 is essentially for breaking my lease and associated fees, and then I get another $2500 to do whatever I want with in this regard and I don't have to pay it back. the $2500 will be sent to my bank account, but I'll have to get reimbursed for the $3000 by submitting expenses electronically. I believe that will more than cover everything.

I'm getting an apartment. Hopefully this new company will be somewhere I'll stick around for the rest of my career... If I'm still at the same company for about 5 years or so and I have no desire to leave, I'll look into buying a house.

Eh, this more than covers all of the expenses, which is what I need.

Nice. I'd much prefer them just giving the cash. For mine, I had to book the stuff like car shipping and personal items shipping through a specific company and they then pay for it

Yeah... It'll all work out, though. The costs associated with breaking my lease are gonna be about $3300, but I don't think I'll spend anywhere near $2200 for the rest. I'll come out with more money once this is all done.
