It's my fault we broke up, really. It is statistically unlikely to have a "The One", but if I did, she was it. I am optimistically-ish resigned to a life of bachelorhood, because I don't have the strength to restore or a replace someone who's been there for me half my life.

I might go nuts, also. I might.

i fell head over heels the moment i saw and met her. I didnt know her. she was a friend of a new friend i met. we met in a bar on a cold night. it was clear evening on a winter. usually it rained but that evening the stars and moon were out and a chilling breeze didnt leave many people outside. the bar was noisy and we kept each other close. i wanted to know more of her. we talked into each others ear. she was intoxicating to me throughout our time together. my heart raced faster each time i got close to her. i was charming that evening the 1st night we met. i led her outside and enjoyed the evening with her under the stars. i gave my heart to her that evening. ...she didnt feel the same. she liked me enough to where we saw each other every weekend from then on. we party and get drunk bar hopping. i wanted more of her and asked her only to go unanswered. i tried to get her attention every time we meet like it was the first time we met and she liked it. she liked me hitting on her with my sweet words. i held back thinking i have the time. id daydream about her and tell her some of it later. it was a way to get beside her ear and whisper to her how i felt. she held herself back from me too. it was her first and we both agreed that she has other things to focus on. she took me out from time to time to clubs bars festivals and carnivals. i told her my time living there was coming to an end. in those last weekends with her i have the memory of her crying in the car. i opened the door and i kneeled in front of her held her hand and asked her whats wrong. she shakes her head saying its okay in tears. broke my heart to have that as the memory of her. we enjoyed our time together and there are moments that were ours. it must have been love but its over now. it must of been good but ive lost it somehow. i make believe that we were together at times like I was sheltered by her heart. but i feel in and outside that I turn to water like a teardrop in a palm and it is a hard winters day, soI dream away... my life truly hasnt been the same without her in it. i knew she shouldve been more but at that time didnt realize how much more she meant to me.
