Even at his worst I prefer him over Hoth. The spreadsheet shit is creepy, but at least he doesn't have a history of doxxing people.

Hoth and his cronies are obsessed with goatthief, error and "the Brigade" - you can see it plain as day on their subreddit. I remember when goatthief was in the Fam, and he posted a bunch of shit that had Hoth raging for a good couple of days. The dogged, low-IQ posting on that subreddit is really fucking sad, and I think it stems from that Fam incident.

Even at his worst, I think goatthief has been a better user than the Fam dickheads who sit around and circlejerk in threads about user drama. Even at his worst, he's more ethical than a user like Hoth. Dude might take CE a bit too seriously, but even then, the usual suspects who seem to have goatthief living rent free in their minds take CE just as seriously. Why else would they start a subreddit dedicated to talking shit about a handful of users they find distasteful? It's absolutely pathetic.

Maybe he's not that respectable, but at the very least, I can say that he isn't absolute scum. Which is more than I can say for some users on CE.

Well, my post got moderated for abusive behaviour. I came out swinging, so I'm not surprised - but there are points I want to keep for posterity's sake. I'm fine with toning it down, though.

• Even at his worst I prefer goatthief over other users - at least he doesn't have a history of doxxing people. He himself has recently been doxxed, which goes to show that CE has scum lower than he is.

• Even at his worst, I think goatthief has been a better user than the type of user who circlejerks about user drama to the same group of four or five people. You know, repeating the same "oh how sad for them :(" dog-and-pony show when they're clearly eating that shit up, and have built up this cult of personality bullshit where they're clearly obsessed with the person being moderated.

• He's hardly the least ethical user on CE. Anyone who's spent a decent amount of time on CE has seen people stoop lower than goatthief ever has.

• At the very least, I can say that he isn't absolute scum. Which is more than I can say for some users on CE.
