Was Terra a traitor to the end or did she have a redeeming arc section?

I know that she and Beast Boy were a thing but then so are Beast Boy and Raven so wondering if there was a love triangle involved.

if we're talking the animated series, it wasn't so much an arc as a redemption moment when she caused that quake that killed Slade and petrified herself.

I am not as familiar with comic book continuities, but if we're assuming that Terra was Tara Markov, there are many explanations as to why she was even bad in the first place. but I think there are forms of her that go good again after the betrayal of the Titans.
