So if a crucial witness turned out to be making up their story that doesnt matter? That could have a major effect on the case and public perception. If parts of the story were fabricated, it may not have even gone to trial or caused the same media frenzy.

It would matter, but it's a very insane conspiracy. This requires some of the most fucked up corruption I've heard accused at multiple levels and branches of government.

Right now we live in an age where the right wing is constantly creating new conspiracy theories. It's hard to see there being any validity to this argument.

Zimmerman's decision to stalk and approach Martin when he was given clear instructions not to do so is a clear indicator that he was out for blood/itching for a fight. Not first degree murder, no, but one could argue for second degree quite easily.

Even in the best case scenario it was at least voluntary manslaughter.

Being told not to by a dispatcher doesn't mean anything, they have no authority.

Confronting someone you suspect to be a burglar doesn't mean that you are out for blood. It's something Zimmerman was fully within his rights to do, even if it may not have been the wisest decision. Trayvon, however, was not within his rights to mount Zimmerman and start pummeling him.

It's funny that you mention manslaughter, because the charge was included in what Zimmerman was facing and they couldn't even get him on that.

I could maybe understand that mentality if you grew up around and participated in violence and were expecting that people were out to jump you so you had to jump them first but were suddenly transplanted into a gated community due to delinquent behavior at school where people are more civilized and at least verbally confront people before attacking them to make sure things arent a misunderstanding as they recognize their are real world consequences for acting without thinking.

Oh wait...

I guess we shouldve judged things from the mentality of the person who broke the law instead of society as a whole. If we only did that all criminality turns into a simple matter of perspective so the person who ends up losing the most becomes the real victim in any situation!

Since one person is dead and the other is alive thats a clear cut case of who the real badguy is.
