It's because of people like Tails we have documented proof from some of the biggest yikes events like "Bover87 Demodded for Account Hijacking"

That particular story is interesting because the coverup had other mods dragged into it who to this day still havent been punished.

Before hover stole the account he was a normal user and he also gained access to the guys alt accounts so he had help from some people with access to such things

Plus being friendly with mod staff he literally got to keep his original account.

People get banned for trolling. Bover stole accounts, lied to SBallen himself and became a mod. Zero punishment

I do sympathize with the people who say it's just board drama. I would be saying the same thing too, and I still do when it's about something going on between users. But it's different when it comes to mod targeting, because like it or not I don't have a choice when they decide to start something up and ding my account over something that they really shouldn't be spending a second of their time on.

If I didn't say anything myself that disagrees with them, they will say I had a secret implied meaning that they don't like. If they can't find that either, they will moderate me just for posting a news story without commentary because they don't like the news story. Many times I have even been moderated over something that another person did. I have been moderated multiple times just for posting in a topic where the mod didn't like the topic title that someone else made. I have been accused of an "imitation topic" because someone copied my topic and the mod couldn't be bothered to check the time stamps.

I did not just decide to criticize these actions overnight, it was only after years of all the stuff like this piling up or getting upheld, and then their questioning my reputation too. So I just decided to defend myself - and when you look into it really, some of them are the last you would expect to be passing judgment on others. It is an unpaid position on a gaming website, not exactly the most vetted position in the world, and neither does the position make them world experts on everything. Some people need to remember that.
