For reference my favorite artists are Nujabes, MF DOOM, and NoName. I prefer jazzy/introspective stuff. What do you got?

I still maintain that Late Registration is Kanye's best work. it's also the most jazz-influenced of his albums.

not sure how much hip-hop you've listened to. is it worth recommending Tribe Called Quest? or Guru's Jazzmatazz series?

The RH Factor isn't necessarily hip-hop -- it's kinda... jazz-hip-hop I guess? but they've featured a lot of cool rappers. off the top of my head, Common is maybe the most notable

in a similar vein, Robert Glasper's stuff is worth checking out. I recommend Black Radio

Ghostface released an album a few years ago with Badbadnotgood and I gotta say it is nothing like their name suggests

This is a mashup, not an official release, but it's a damn fine Christmas album and pretty jazzy throughout:

Nice! They've headlined the Jazz festival in my city a couple times but they always sell out immediately when they're announced so I've never seen them live.

Yeah, The Roots come off as a band that would be just as disappointed if they didn't put on a good show for their fans. Feels like one the safest bets to seeing an outstanding show. Plus it's only my second concert ever.

My favorite Redman album, which is funny because IIRC Red doesn't like it due to the amount of drugs he was on at the time

thank u all for the reccomendations

Of the ones I've already listened to in this thread, Bizarre Ride II and TPAB are absolute gems (the latter of which is an absolutely cold take, though). Blowout Comb is also a very nice album to listen to.

Late Registration is nice but I much prefer College Dropout. It Was Written is, again, nice, but Illmatic outshines it.

I'll be sure to listen to the rest of what you guys said, tysm

Yeah, Blowout Comb is another good one. Definitely check out A Tribe Called Quest if you haven't already, too.

Another one you'd probably like:
