I'm not really sociable or have a good personality, so my option for a career is to be technically useful to the point where people literally need me around.

Which is ok

But basically I'm 29 and have to start everything over again.

Does this pay well enough to live in an urban area? I would prefer to not have to drive a car, guess the specific urban area doesnt matter

Edit: also I guess this would need to be a job where "experience" is a non factor? I have worked jobs but like... not... well just dishwashing jobs basically.

Learn to code.

Dont do any engineering because you have to talk to people and act like you enjoy the job.

I learnt that the hard way. Finished my masters a year ago and I still havent been hired.

Every single person in the world lies about having Excel knowledge on their resumes/in interviews. The average person's knowledge of Excel is basically formatting like its MS Paint. You learn vlookup, sumifs, match, basic date formulas, pivot tables and graphs and you'll be leagues ahead of most people. Most places "require" a bachelor's degree. Those places lie too lol or you can just get a call center job and move into a data analyst position.
