I dont feel like putting food on the table is selling out. Like, I dont really follow any major YouTube personalities, but if thats what they need to do to make money for themselves, theyre gonna do it. They arent in this out just out of the kindness of their hearts.

Sup Youtube UltraDeathSlayer02 here and today we're going to be talking about Thingy McThing but first let me tell you all about Age of Bird Tanks, the game that his been owning my life lately I simply can not put this game down you play as a bird tank and destroy other bird tanks. On mobile you can skip ahead 10 seconds at a time by repeatedly tapping the right side of the video (and go back 10 seconds by doing the same on the left side). It's really not that big a deal.

Like I listen to several podcasts and Im aware of how the world works so Im happy to sit through a minute of ads every 30 minutes in exchange for literally hundreds of hours of free content each year

if the person youre supporting is worth a damn theyll make the ads entertaining anyway

It has though. YouTube creators and podcasters have been shilling NordVPN, Blue Apron, Felix Gray, Tweaked Audio, Quip, and other shit since like the early 2010s. They gotta make money to support their shows SOMEHOW.

This isn't really an issue. Just skip past it if you don't like it.

That said, I appreciate youtubers who go above and beyond and make the ad align with their content. Nostaligia Critic and sometimes Brutalmoose do this. Sometimes I still skip them, but a lot of times I'll watch because they are fairly entertaining.
