Almost everyone is hiring. If you don't have a job here it's because of a disability or a willful desire to remain unemployed.

Pretty much most jobs here pay below living wage unless you live at home (or room share with 3+ people) or have 5+ years of experience so I don't know how to answer

No, I work in the transportation business and am in one of the best areas in the country for it. I have a well-paying job and still constantly get offers from other companies.
No degree either, so no nonsense student loans to worry about. It's nice being good at what I do.

In general as long as you're not living in a post industrial meth ridden locale with no prospects, you can get some kind of job somewhere. but that's not the same as finding a specific type of job you want because that's what you're interested in and what you went to school for

When I got back to the states, it took me 3 months to get a basic-ass retail job.

I don't know. I haven't had to look for one. I've had the job I have since before I moved.

You can find a fast food job anywhere, but I dont think thats what TC means. There are a lot of towns where you cant get on with a work crew, or in an office, or you cant work for the city, etc.

It is. With few openings and many applicants, the odds of a person being selected for a job are quite low.

I live just outside a major city so yeah any able bodied person can get a low level job like call center work or fast food or whatever.

It's probably much harder outside of big cities though.
