tbh, the movie never really did anything for me.
I think it could be because I'm generally not interested in monster movies. The Thing had the element of there being a psychological angle, since everyone was paranoid, not being able to trust each other, but still, I wasn't feeling it. but I was never really a fan of "older" horror outside of the first two Hellraisers. --- b-bb-box ... Its about tied with Alien for me. I saw them both around the same time as a kid and the dog scenes scarred me for life.
