Watching the Halloween episode from this latest season, but srsly

they never wrapped up the whole plot about Veronica's dad trying to kill Archie. Archie just came back and then it was all gravy or w/e, and they showed this town that Veronica's dad had destroyed by building a prison but he built the prison in Riverdale and nothing happened there I think.

Why did an FBI agent have a high school student defuse a bomb.
Why was it so hard for the government to prosecute a literal organ harvesting operation.

Why is the gargoyle king shit still going on after all this time

What happened to the Vipers, Jug's dad became the Sheriff and it was just like.... now he's a good guy and the whole gang/bar thing disappeared.

Jesus titty fucking Christ, seriously? Their decision to latch on the "D&D = Satanism" trend might make sense, if it were still 1980. Given Netflix's aesthetic trend for keeping their shows pre-Internet era (until you see the smart phones), what's their deal with that by the way, what point was I trying to make? I stopped watching a while back was going to be the end of my rant anyway.

Yeah I thought it was a cool idea but then it just kept going and going and going.

I think half the episodes of Season 3 was a reveal about the Gargoyle King's identity and then they were like "lol JK it wasn't him, it was HER!" and then the next episode they revealed THAT person but the Gargoyle King shit continued and it was like the whole town at some point was revealed to be a Gargoyle King.

Also didn't help that they took it from a board game and turned it into this real world shit where Archie was the "Red Knight" and dumb shit like that.

I just keep remembering now how the Gargoyle King has been in like every episode since they introduced that shit. It was in the gay conversion therapy convent, too. Like everywhere.

And the fact that the show even had a gay conversion convent was pretty crazy on its own it didn't need any other crazy shit, but then no, the convent was really a front for Hyrum's fizzlerock manufacturing operation or something ridiculous like that.

That would be a hella dope crossover and infinitely better than where it's going now with a lot of convoluted individual character stories that make zero sense and which will probably get zero closure.
