I can see them rolling out a Battle Network Collection. We've had all of the other major Megaman series collections, so stands to reason that that would be next.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is inevitable at this point, we just have to be patient. I'm cool with them remaking RE games too.

That's exactly why people want a sequel. It has an amazing gameplay loop that they refuse to reuse. They can make a better game with what they can do now.

I agree. I'm looking forward to the eventual Nemesis and Code Veronica, but Capcom can do so much more. They have so many IPs, and retro influenced gaming/remakes are huge right now.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will probably happen after Capcom remakes all of the classic RE games. AFAIK, we got three more to go.

The point I'm making is it will sell. Resident Evil is hot right now and survival horror in general is bigger than ever. If you plaster "Resident Evil but dinosaurs" over everything it will get peoples attention. And the novelty of a game with dinosaurs, which are shamefully rare, will at least turn peoples heads. Megaman may have been big shit 25 years ago but no one cares about it now and, although there's a big market for retro sidescrollers, they don't do record numbers. So why is people asking for other 20 year dead franchises somehow so much less outlandish than Dino Crisis?

I'm not even saying it would be a guaranteed seller, just that Veggeta X's opinion is not actually based on anything

I'm basing it off on the Capcom fandom who knows shit about what they really want. Let's compare this to another Capcom game: Megaman Legends.

You can claim how good the series was or how much you wanted MML3 but it would be unpractical from a financial stand point for Capcom. Fact is, not enough of you guys would have bought the game even though I'm sure you're all vocal about wanting it.

I loved MML1 as with anyone but it didn't sell well. They made a MML2 just based solely on vocal demands and praise. And guess what? MML2 didn't sell well either. So why would they make MML3? Any person with half a brain would stop production on a non-selling product and repurpose that money into a real selling product such as the DMC, RE and Monster Hunter series. So Capcom didn't fail you with MML3, the community failed it.
