You'll be completely immortal and will live to end of existence but only as you were at 10-years old. You'll never get hurt or sick or anything physically bad happen to you. If you were shot or stabbed or had a building fall on you, you'll walk away completely unscathed.

Come on that won't happen. You'll spend 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999.... of your existence stuck onto the frozen core of the dead Sun (assuming atoms don't decay, you never leave Earth and Earth is destroyed by the red giant Sun)

Other wise you'll be floating in the void and you might experience the feeling of your atoms decaying as your immortal conscious remains, in a feeling that I assume would be like if you became aware you were dead and couldn't do anything about it forever. If they don't decay, you can enjoy the feeling of constantly being oxygen deprived.

Drink beer
Drive cars
Gain employment
Have sex
Go to night clubs
Buy M rated games

All of this is gone forever. Screw that. I'll take being a mortal adult any day.

The aforementioned space devastation situation would lead me to say no. But if we were to assume that somehow I'd always have a nice, cozy planet to live on, with human/humanlike civilization to comfort me...

I'd have to consider what my needs would be like. Emotionally, would I be like a 10 year old as well? If so I'd probably always want to have at least one (I can only hope positive) parental figure in my life. Imagine losing so many over the course of history. I don't think I could deal with that.

You'd be so limited as a 10 year old. You wouldn't be allowed to drive, have sex, pursue any jobs you'd want. You'll eventually be recognized for your ability to not age if you don't keep moving. And then there's the typical argument against Immortality. You'd eventually spend a very VERY long time in space just floating. At best you'd get caught in the gravitational pull of another planet where maybe an advanced society will come investigate and rescue you. Eventually even that won't be a possibility. You could also get trapped under something like a building and not be able to die. Maybe the rubble is too heavy for your little boy body?

I'd take being 10 years old forever. With age comes great wisdom. Even if I got in trouble every now and then, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I don't think so. The only real problem is being prepubescent, tbh... And even that might not be a problem... Personally, I do live sex, but I might not care as much at that age. As for the other stuff, it could still work. I mean, it would be weird, though. There are some people that have disorders that make you look like a child. So, you could problem still find a way to be able to drive, drink, go clubbing, etc... But I don't know if there is anything that would haste puberty. While it normally starts at 11 for female, and 12 for males, it can start earlier. Like at 6 or 7 for females, and 9 for males. So, maybe that wouldn't be an issue, as well. Though, that's starting, so...

Though, if you didn't want to get discovered by anyone that would take you to a secret facility for the rest of your life to poke and prod you to discover immortality for themselves and others in positions of power, you may need a little help... And will probably need to keep getting new identities... Though, that would get easier with time. And you could probably fly through school... You'd also have to move a lot...

I wonder, though. If you did start puberty early and had a child, would they also be immortal? And what age would they get to? Those questions are for TC...

In addition to the whole "Having to still be around when the universe dies" thing, there's the fact that I would eventually want a lover. Which is a bit of a problem if you were stuck in a 10 year old body.
