More specifically, he made 4 shots and missed 10. Accidentally lost the ball to the other team 5 times, and while he was on the court, the other team scored 20 points more than his team.

0 assists too, he didn't pass it to a single teammate to score a point.
He also fouled 5 times (illegal defense on an opposing player.)

So called "Prime" Melo was fucking garbage too, let's be real.
Guy never passes, chucks bad shots, has a huge ego (that destroys teams) and never plays defense.

Maybe my memory is fuzzy, but I don't remember him being so amazing on the Nuggets to justify his super star status from the Knicks and on. Ever since the Knicks, he's been a complete liability. How can his Nuggets reputation carry him for so long? Makes no sense.

I think Mark Spears asked him what he learned about himself that game. He said, he's an inspiration to others. The fact that he persevered and kept trying and eventually made his way back onto the court.

Hes only surefire in scoring. Hes ass in most other categories. He probably has decent rebounds, but all Melo did was score. Never even made the finals.

Melo isnt even the most surefire HoF type player in his class. Arguably not even the best at his position from his draft class.

Its basketball, dont think they care too much about high school though.

Again, Melo was only a scorer and a ball-hog. Guy was an elite scorer, but he wasnt even the best player in his draft class (its LeBron, obviously). Arguably not even the second best (Wade).

Yeah he played on a stacked Olympic team before Europe (and the world) started to care about basketball on the international stage.

He made 1 conference finals appearance and needed Billups to do it.

He might make it eventually, but hes not as sure fire as the guy said he is. He was a scorer. Thats all he did.

Melo has been trash for like ten years, and possibly even more than that. Hes a volume scorer that cant shoot anymore, doesnt play D, or pass the ball.

Hoe many times has he even made it to the second round of the playoffs? Twice maybe?

He'll make the Hall of Fame because of his other accomplishments. But he's one of the most talented and one of the laziest to ever play. Can you imagine what he could have done if he actually had a work ethic?
