-Found in only one specific place: the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area.
-You can only get to this area after getting the water bike upgrade, which is after the 6th Gym.
-2% spawn chance.
-Only spawns when the weather is Overcast, Foggy, or Thunderstorm.

And of course, for the past two days I've been able to access this area, the weather isn't cooperating.

Split attackers are really annoying to me. Or have been since EVs were introduced (#deletEVs)

Realistically though I don't know how many people will go the special route with this thing as base 100 isn't that great. Dat speed stat is truly delicious, though.

I haven't seen its final form yet, but since I'm a Dragon guy, getting Dreepy is a priority for me.

Normally, I'd rely on the GTS... But Game Freak, in all their unbridled wisdom, removed the GTS from the game. (Probably going to package it in with HOME.)

This is one of the things that really bothers me about Pokemon. Availability of the new Pokemon was an issue in Gen 7 as well. I get that Dreepy eventually becomes the pseudo-legendary, but it's ridiculous to make you jump through hoops to access the new Pokemon.

I suppose all that isn't as bad as the nonsensical late evolutions for Vikavolt and Crabominable in Sun/Moon at least.

Crabominable is like, the worst design in pokemon. It should evolve at lvl 99 so you can have its cool pre-evolution longer.

It literally only evolves in one area. Just slap on an Everstone while in that area if you want it to stay a Crabrawler so bad.

Though Panphy in Crystal is probably worse despite a 3% higher spawn rate because it had the best mechanic of all...

I thought the pokemon that would be hardest to get in Sword/Shield would be the ones they removed from the games pokedex. (sorry, couldn't resist the joke).

That is quite a bit of hurdles to go through for it though.

Evolving Farfetchd is also kinda bs.
Gotta get 3 crits in a single battle.

I saw that on Bulbapedia earlier, it's absurd most things will be dead even if you get three in a perfect row

You can just change the system time on your Switch. I think Thunderstorm is guaranteed for July 1, 2020

~20 minutes of farming in a thunderstorm made one appear and now I've been endlessly breeding it with a Ditto

^Yeah, I ended up doing that after skipping ahead a few days and realizing that I would have to wait up to and over a week for the weather to cooperate if I did it the way the game intended. I think it was November 1st (unless July 1st is also a Thunderstorm date).
