If you're hunting to eat or whatever, I get that. But for sport seems really dumb. What a sissy way to prove dominance over life. Anyone can use a gun. Go fight those animals with your fists if you wanna kill things for fun, especially animals that could kill you back. Or donate the meat to someone that's hungry. That'd be wholesome. Or if animals are bothering the safety of your house/family or an invasion is causing an ecological imbalance. But you're fucked up and insecure if you just wanna kill things for the hell of it.

Supposedly, the things that they hunt have natural population control problems, to the point that it's considered more humane to shoot a few than let a lot of them starve.

But then again, I don't see anyone advocating an open season on humans so I have to question the logic.

You act as though the meat always goes to waste. Unless it's a bear or some other animal that people don't generally eat, the meat always goes to someone if not the hunter. Also, many of the animals that have open hunting seasons are officially sanctioned by the park are because conservationists have determined that hunting them is the best way to preserve the ecosystem.

So next time you want to start running your mouth in an emotional fit, I suggest you educate yourself before voicing your opinion with no facts to back it up. Exception: poachers can fuck right off.
