In all seriousness I am kinda curious regardless. I remember someone said that a Blu-Ray feature should have the original cut of the movie, but then again I don't think the full movie was finished when the 1st trailer came out.

IIRC what I remember hearing way back when the marketing material leaked was that the studio was trying to pull off some BS where they didn't have to pay royalties to Sega on toy sales by redesigning Sonic so it didn't fall under existing copyright or some BS like that. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
