Activated charcoal is useful for saving people from many ingested organic poisons because it is extremely effective at absorbing and holding on to molecules before they get absorbed by the stomach and colon.

As far as dietary use though, I'm not aware of any benefit but I've never researched it.

Not a good idea to ingest if you're taking medications for that reason, so people really need to be more cautious ingesting it for funsies. Skin cleansers and creams etc are good though.

It's how Trump is going to bring back jobs to the coal production industry.

Its a fad just like the hemp products. Like Im sure theres good use of it for a couple or several things but its so obvious that its a fad when theres this many different products for it.

All thats missing is annoying people who make it a part of their lifestyle & dont shut up about it being a cure for everything.

Charcoal vitamins, charcoal toothpaste, charcoal toothbrushes, charcoal face masks, charcoal skin creams, charcoal deodorant, charcoal shampoo, charcoal conditioner, charcoal soap. Pretty soon theyll try making charcoal flavored lays chips, charcoal perfume/cologne, charcoal scented candles, Ben & Jerrys chocolate charcoal ice cream, charcoal tattoos
