Finally found the passion to do this again, but it's early morning right now.

Same rule as UP ALL NIGHT with Super Mario Odyssey, I need to beat it 12 hours, so I got till 6pm pst to finish it.

First of all, I wanna say this. Dear god how I fucking LOOOOOOVE the art style. It's beyound beautiful!

Cute girl MC starts off talking to this cute pet. She said something funny that I immediately forgot because dear god that pet is adorable! :D

Wall jumping is a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to doing it a lot.

Seriously, Ajna(MC) is just so damn funny, and her Voice Actor really nails it!

Blocking is easy enough.

Ajna's dad is a jerk!

You fucking go Ajna! We're gonna kick the murderers ass!

So you somehow got the murderer within yourself, and he comes out during battle, and I'll take it that everyone that joins your party is gonna do the same.

Man, I tell ya, what I'd give for this game to get really big, and have great games inspired by it like SOTN has! Speaking of which, I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to play more Metroidvanias! I liked Chasm.

"Uh oh! That's a big boy!"

Came across a monk and a nun, who "are not married" they want me to gather stones called ringsels to increase my power.

Some healer kid gave me my first sidequest. Gotta keep moving though!

Man, never had so much fun using an axe in a game! So much fun hanging on walls with it!

Second boss is a big ugly purple spider. Nice!

Love the little "mini-game" during this boss fight where you go out of combat and have to run around avoiding acid. Totally didn't see it coming. If this game's got a lot of this, then this game might end up being one of my faves!

"They can't take your weapon if you store it in your brain!" Brilliant!

Ok, so I've spent about an hour on this game so far. Hope I'm making good time.

Got a bow now, nice! Funny story btw, I always had Lenneth use a bow when I play VP up until the end of the game.

Oh god Ajna, you're like the best female MC ever! :D

God, I just love getting a surprise attack on the enemy with the bow so fucking much!

Oooh! Ravannavar fight already!

Hehe, gotta love the way that everything just sorta works out for for Ajna. She jumps off the airship hoping a giant bird will catch her, and sure enough it does!

Man these dissapearing blocks can be a pain. So used to dealing with them in games that I can use save states, so this is pretty annoying.

God I love games where it feels like someone gains a level every other fight!

Ravannavar again.

Holy shit! Ajna chopped off Ravannavar's head, and then he turned into a demonic monster!

Ravannavar blasted Agna away, and I had to chase after him again as he threw fireballs at us. But I thought I played Mario last week! :P

Plot reveal! in the past Ajna's father sealed Kala, the maker and destroyer or worlds in the area we're in.

Got knocked back again. Ravannavar, I'm coming for you!

Thorani speaks the truth. You really are adorable Ajna!

So Kala's free. Guessing that they're the last boss of this game.

"What does all of this mean?"

"It means we're all gonna die!"

So Ajna herself is a goddess. Like the way that they present it.

Ok, it's 8am, so 2 hours have passed. Really hope that I'm 1/6th through the game. Either way, I gotta keep on moving!

Did I mention that I really love this games art style? Because I really really REALLY love the games art style! Seriouusly! I know that i said that this is one of the best years ever for gaming, and quite

frankly it is, but there's also a lot of games from this year where the aesthetics are so bizarre that there's no way that I couldn't possibly get immersed, and as a result won't be able to enjoy. Games like

the Links Awakening remake, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Really glad that the people in charge of this games visuals were able to pull off what they have, because quite frankly this game is EASILY the best

looking game I've played all year!

Ok, more plot reveal, so Ajna was a power of Kala. and the power is apparantly related to friendship. Those that she makes along the way gives her more and more power. Way to pull that off without hitting me over the head with being sappy and sentimental like Kingdom Hearts Indivisible.

Ok seriously, I hate to do this, but I can't go through with my plans of playting this without taking breaks, or I'm gonna burn out on this game. I've spent about 2 and a half hours on this game so far, and I'll still try to finish it within 12 hours, just not all at once. I'm in the middle of the Maerifa part of the game. Hopefully I'm about 1/4 of the way through the game.

Indivisible

Ok, More indivisible. Must resist the desire to play Poke Sword and Star Wars: Fallen Order until I finish this!

Carmen Sandiego joined my party, and gave me a badass harpoon...er, spear! Didn't see that coming. So much fun to use outside of combat...er, the main battle system. Seriously, I can't stress how much fun this game is. It's probably the most fun game that I've played all year.

It's so satisfying killing these big armored soldiers with rifles with melee weapons!

Yay! Zebel decided to stay with us! :D

"Super spy, lovable thief, and master of espionage!"

"Agh! What the heck's an ID?"

Jesus all these "let's just return to the port for now" roadblocks. The game was really moving forward for a while, and now the plot keeps stopping!

Ok, played this for an hour, so I've put about 3 and a half hours into this game. time to post this progress report.
