I'd like for him to do a spiritual sequel to MGS, with all the crazy-ass ideas he had for it but couldn't pull off due to technical constraints. He wanted The End's fight to take real, actual weeks, in an absolutely massive map.

There are some things that just don't fit a video game. This is it. Nobody seriously wants a boss fight that lasts hours, that's tiring. It's already perfectly designed with clever secrets involving it (don't have to fight him if you kill him off with a sniper earlier in the game, or he dies of old age if you leave it paused on the fight for a week).

I did the first real mission and some side stuff and then lost interest and switched to fallout 4

-I- want it. The context for it taking forever is there, what with it being a sniper duel, in what was supposed to be a dense jungle. Kojima wants the actual weeks, because he's a madman.

That depends entirely on how much you like sneaking around. The game is focused on that more than anything else.

If it ever got to that point I'd just take a break. That's not even the same situation anyway. Imagine the frustration of going against a boss that's legit supposed to take a few hours to beat, you get so close to beating it, then something happens that you die, and have to start it over from the beginning of the fight. That's what I'm getting at.

Unless you suggest that there would be checkpoints to prevent from losing hours of progress, then that would be better.

Perhaps The End is hunting Naked Snake for the entire game until the actual boss fight.
