an interesting word

Popular has nothing to do with the choice, I don't try to count how many times a word is used on CE.

Sometimes I check out 10 or more words before using it for the word of the day. Usually I will use a word of the day if there is something about the origin of the word, one or more of the synonyms, or how the word can be used. A word is more likely to be chosen if it is a word that you don't see that often.

The key is that there is something that can be considered interesting, and that I found it being used on CE. Enjoy or not, approve or not, I am not trying to appeal to anyone to post in the topic or even read the topic - you are free to do as you please.
