CyricZ 11/12/19 10:27:32 AM #1:	I thought I was supposed to go to a conference for some continuing education today. When I booked the conference, the website showed a calendar of the events and it showed it as the third day of the week by my reckoning. So today comes and I'm like "Okay it's the second Tuesday of November, time to go to the conference." Got all the way to the hotel and realized that the conference wasn't there that day. Because it was on a Wednesday, because the calendar they displayed started on Monday. Yes, I could have read the number of the date (the 13th) and made the correct calculation. Yes I could have reconfirmed with myself and others that the info on the conference specifically said "Wednesday". It's just the calendar was the image that preserved itself in my mind when I booked this months ago. So I had to haul ass to my normal Tuesday workplace and apologize for being late.
