The channel is called Audit the Audit. It shows interactions between civilians and police (sometimes security guards and others, as well)... It's surprising how many cops either don't know the law or lie about it. Don't get me wrong. There are plenty of videos where the civilian is very wrong. But it seems like a lot of police are in the wrong, as well...

Anyway, they grade all individuals involved (and sometimes, a whole unit like a police department) in the end. The guy who does it uses different laws and shows which ones he's talking about. Though, I do feel like some of the people do stuff solely to get away with some of it, like the guy talking pictures of the police department (and got $41,000 out of it, and the police supervisor told the other cop he was wrong pretty quick). But sometimes, people aren't doing anything wrong. Like the guy sitting outside, or the realtors and potential house buyer looking at a house for sale.

The requirements to be a law enforcement officer in the US vary quite a bit from state to state and in some places it doesn't take a whole lot. A lot of states also don't seem to have requirements for ongoing training.

Yeah. Some of them also wont hire people if theyre too smart, apparently...

It's pretty common for people to not know their job. Find one of those apple geniuses and see how many of them actually knows what the fuck they are talking about.

I dont mind them not knowing every law. And some will even take the time to look up the law. But the ones that either lie or pretend they do and try to arrest people who arent doing anything illegal are pretty bad...

Yeah some cops are shockingly ignorant about laws and the rights of individuals. Like that idiot the other day in San Francisco that tried telling a guy he was under arrest for eating a chicken sandwich on the BART platform

I respect police that try to better communities or go after real threats, but the ones that just harass poor people and try to make everyones life more difficult, they can fuck right off

Yeah. And there are good cops. But there are a bunch that I feel just want to show how much power they have. And the least the cops could do is know at least some laws. Or understand the rights that people have. Arresting somebody for eating is ridiculous. And they try to find any excuse to harass others. Its crazy...
