Trying to put some definition on my stomach, but man, I hate laying down to exercise. I want to get in the habit of doing standing stuff. What is your take on this matter, CE?

Honestly I think specifically targeting your core is a waste of time. Your core should be getting worked if you do lifts correctly or any exercise, really.

Core is 98% diet

If you want ab definition you only need two exercises. The first is myotatic crunches, which you need a bosu ball to perform, and I guess unfortunately have to start pretty much lying down. The other is like a "cat vomit" exercise where you get on all fours and attempt to move your navel all the way back to your spine.

You can use targeted machines for core. Its better because of the extra weight you can stack. But diet is key.

Easiest way is just power dump, the strain on the abdominal muscle smashing deuces will get you ripped in a couple weeks

Yes
Sidebends and various knee raises are good examples. Hell, if you throw uppercuts at a heavy bag you can give your core a great workout from just that.

I'm in this base too. My routines are full of compound lifts and a lot of those are hitting my core pretty hard already. And yeah, definition comes from having a low bodyfat % really.. more than anything else.

Wow. I feel asleep right after I made this topic. I really appreciate the advice here, guys. I'm definitely low on fat. I should probably eat more, more than anything.
