Correct order for Corpse Party is Original -> Book of Shadows -> Blood Drive, with 2 being a totally different thing and everything else being a spin-off, right? My light googling has me a mite confused.

My light googling has me a mite confused. This is correct. There are three games in the original story arc, a non-canon self-parody, and Episode 1 of the first game of the second arc. The confusion likely stems from the fact that several of the games have been remade and rereleased numerous times under different titles in Japan. Heavenly Host arc Corpse Party (the version we got in English is a remake of a remake, known in Japan as Corpse Party: Blood Covered- Repeated Fear, because Japan) Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (IIRC, mostly overlaps with the first game, showing events from other points of view and revealing what was going on elsewhere) Corpse Party: Blood Drive: Continues and concludes the storyline from the first game Silly joke game Sachiko's Sweet Birthday Bash (Features characters from the HH arc in light-hearted scenarios) New Arc Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient (Being released episodically, with the first episode already having been remade after they scrapped the original engine and decided to start over. The English version is the remake, but we don't know when (or if) Episode 2 will actually be made. Probably shares a setting with the HH arc, but is an entirely new story that stands alone) --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil ... Copied to Clipboard!
