The new trend now days is "Take an old franchise and make a new sequel to it with exciting new characters and funny hipster humor."

T6, Episode 8, the new Chucky, are all perfect examples. I'm glad it did horrible, maybe now other film makers will learn.

You can't sit there and tell me you expected it to be good after that last film. I would have loved for them have proved me wrong and given us a movie with grown up Edward Furlong finally leading the humans to victory over the machines, but it wasn't going to happen because "it's been done before."
