Half of these posts from them in my timeline are just Oops! I know its Wednesday, but I just went to the bar and rang up a $90 tab! Uh oh! I have to get up early in the morning for work!!! :p

And, sure, itd be one thing if they only did this once. People are allowed to have fun, and Im definitely not one to criticize that. But theyre doing this shit like 3 times a week now. Or posting about how they had to take an unplanned trip to Walmart because they accidentally went through 3 bottles of wine in 2 days instead of the 5 they initially planned.

This is why I left my hometown. All anyone does there is drink their lives away.

That's in EVERY town. You just happen to know the ones doing it where you live. That's why I got off Facebook. All it ever was was people making stupid comments like that. And I graduated over 20 years ago. It's a never ending trend that's no going away any time soon.

I graduated 20 years ago. Although I don't have a lot of my old town friends on Facebook, I still hear about what's going on.

Some turned to alcohol. Some to some major drugs (3 have died from OD thus far) l. Almost everyone smokes or smoked pot.

It is like every town. People are depressed for whatever reason. Maybe the star quarterback ended up working a minimum wage job and drowns the sorrows. One of the popular girls found out that she couldn't be a stripper forever and wants to relax.

Most don't make excuses ("I accidentally the whole thing!!) but just go about their business. The ones I see almost brag about their habits and lack of work ethic are those younger than me. I can only see so many posts about them partying or drinking before I remove them from my friends.

I regularly spend $200 a night when I go out. Usually weekends. Thatll happen in small towns that are mostly made up of old people. If I could actually afford to live in Vancouver I would because theres a lot to see and do there. Another reason I want to travel.

What makes your life more interesting though TC? Most adults:
- Work
- Some have some form of education too
- Socialise
- Drink alcohol
- Watch/Play entertiagment

Of course some folk don't do any of these things or do very little of them. I'd probably get board if I drank more than once a week but I certainly understand going out for a night out at least once a week.

Also on a side note: What you see on social media normally isn't a persons whole life. I don't post much on Facebook but if you just read my profile it would seem like I'm a alcoholic even though I drink very little.

Not wrong. But posting about getting wasted is always lame, but it's infinitely more cringy when adults do it. When alcohol or drugs are what somebody makes their entire persona about, they should probably get some help. Seriously.
