Roommate who approached me completely unprompted about religion gave me an invitation and I don't know why I accepted. This Christian group pretends like it isn't a Christian group, which is pretty shady. Should be interesting, if nothing else.

Christians have this really weird idea that they're the only people in the world, and if you deviate from their specific idea of "god" their programming just goes haywire. They have no idea how to cope with the notion "god" doesn't matter.

anytime anyone tries that framing shit with me (in any context or conversation), I play dumb and look at them like they have two heads, like "what do you mean questions about god? I don't understand what that is or how it could possibly relate to anything I'm attempting to explain to you..." and then eventually work around to "OHHHH. I see what you're saying now! Yeah, no that is absolutely not what I'm telling you at all and is so far from it that it was like you were speaking a completely different language and I didn't get what you were even trying to suggest." and then go onto to elaborate on my position in such detail and with as much contrast to their framing as I can possibly come up with.
