This isnt willy nilly

I enjoyed the fucking segment. I wanted it to continue and at that time it was the thing I cared about most on Raw. That isnt me trying to save face, I dont care what most of you think (you for what its worth are one of the exceptions, Ive always liked you Lopen).

Go watch some 1999 Thunder if you want to like bad wrestling ironically and not have me scoff at you. WWE can't pull that off right now because most of the bad stuff is big picture, on a presentation, character building, pacing, or continuity level. The actual segment to segment content being terrible at times is a pretty small piece of the picture.

Choppy choppy pee pee was actually a well written storyline in a lot of ways. It was dumb as hell but it had clear consistent character motivations and a self awareness in the presentation that made it enjoyable in a weird way that bad segments in WWE just don't have anymore.

Like really, ignore the cringeworthy segment to segment content of the Rusev/Lashley storyline for a moment

When were Rusev and Lana having problems to begin with to lead into this
Hell when did Rusev and Lana exist to begin with to lead into this
Why is Bobby Lashley the guy to do this out of all guys on the roster other than he needed something to do
Alternatively tldr why are all the characters completely different than they were before this storyline
Why is this being played straight when the content is this stupid. Ham it up more.
Where is any of it going to lead. Are Lana Rusev or Lashley going to gain any interesting nuance to their characters because of this

Yay.

So full disclosure I dont hate Dynamite so far (NXT dwarfs it, but thats not a fair comparison) and some of the episodes have definitely been better than Raw for sure (although not really a high bar per say). Ive watched every episode thus far, usually with liberal fast forward, but again thats not an attack, I do the same with Raw usually only more so. I watch every precious moment of NXT, and typically Ill fast forward for SD is a womens match that doesnt involve Bayley or Sasha because with commercials its only about an hour and 20 minutes and theres usually always something in the segments to take in (I wish I had fast forwarded the Corbin thing last night, no pun intended, holy shit).

And tonight there is a PPV. IMO their first one. The show didnt exist before this, so that crap doesnt matter. Thats gonna he important when I complain about that ME.....

Who will win. Spears. They see something in him, and I assure you its not there. Boring in ring and on mic and literally known for the number 10. Joey should squash him in 8 seconds. Being this is AEW and every match is stupid long for some reason.... I expect them to go 12.

Im torn in this... I think for the belt and for Riho it really would be great if she just destroys her, but less Riho wrestling, and thats bad. She is such a great little tiny babyface, very reminiscent of Gail Kim vs Kong. Im all here for this.

So look, we all know Dustins brother is going to win this Title at sometime, this company LITERALLY exists so he can give himself the belt since he wasnt talented enough to do it in the majors. 2 things, just rip the band aid off now, and after that promo he wont ever be more over with the fans, not to mention its gonna look god damn awful for this company if he loses and then gets a match to win it at a later time. Send the fans home happy. Thats how wrestling should be done. You strike while the iron is hot. It will never be hotter for him ever. This is his moment, do it.

I just watched their PPV, did a preview of said PPV, admitted I liked Dynamite usually more than Raw, and will be reviewing their PPV.... which I purchased by the way.... did you?
