Last night I was pulling out of a liquor store parking lot when a cop on the adjacent road passed by. As I pulled out, he made a whole fucking U-turn and followed me until I pulled into the Taco Bell parking lot. Not gonna lie, it pissed me off.

Makes sense, tbh.

The cop probably just figured you'd be an easy ticket cause you might already be drunk or drinking and driving (just based on you going to a liquor store).

What did you get at Taco Bell?

Yeah, liquor stores, bars, and from what I've heard recently legalized pot establishments as well. Higher proportion of driving under the influence and an easy ticket.

Yeah, this happens. Cops have quotas to meet and so they profile people based on location and follow hoping for an excuse to write a ticket. I got followed all the way home one night from a bar, despite being the DD that evening and not swerving or making any indications of wrongdoing at all.

my cousin got pulled over for making an illegal lane change one time when he was leaving the liquor store. basically, he was taking a right turn into a road with 2 lanes. instead of pulling into the closest lane, he turned into the farther lane and got pulled over... like, I have never heard of some shit like that before. these fuckers get you for anything they can

2 beefy 5 layer burritos.
They stopped selling my 2 favorite items: the XXL grilled stuffed burritto (my favorite for like a whole decade) and the chalupa cravings box. Therefore I dont eat there much anymore. Admittedly, I only pulled into there last night to get the cop off my ass.

Have you never taken driver's ed? You are supposed to use the closest lane you are turning from. Right turn, go to right lane. Left turn, go to left lane. This allows both a right turn and a left turn to happen if there are only people turning.

I always hated the idiots that didn't know how to do a turn at my train station parking lot entrance from the opposing traffic. Not many cars needed to go straight, as that goes to the train parking lot, and there are a ton of right turners, and as I make my left turn on a green light the idiots don't know they are supposed to keep right and honk their horns when I am turning.

I would have pulled him over, too. It pisses me off when people turn into the outside lane. Ive had to slow down for these people, OR almost hit them while turning into my own lane legally because they think they can just turn into whichever lane they choose. An exception can be made if the person is immediately making a turn, but otherwise, we need to start teaching people that this is wrong to do.

Yeah, people making turns into the wrong lane makes things more dangerous for everyone and slows things down because other drivers might not turn when they could because they cant trust others to turn into the correct lane.

Uh, you take Drivers ed to get a permit, unless my school did that in the wrong order.

To get my permit I just had to go to the place that issues licenses and take a test. Our school didnt let us take drivers ed until 10th grade, when most of us were 16.

A car turning right at a green light has the right of way so the car turning left shouldn't be turning at that point anyways. That may not be the letter of the law, but it's unnecessarily dangerous for both cars to turn at the same time.

Say I get a green arrow, which ALWAYS means I have the right of way. Yet the clown on the other end will turn right on red into my lane.

Uh my highscool offered it for free and it was a shitty highschool that basically looked like a prison.
