Speech pathologist and therapist has equipped a sound bound to have various words and commands and has figured out you can teach dogs how to understand how to use the sound board to communicate.

In one video, she uses the sound board to tell her dog Stella that it's time for bed. She clicks on "Stella" "bed". The dog first clicks on "water", and sure enough the water bowl is empty. After filling it and the dog drinks, she repeats "Stella" "bed". The dog presses "toy ball" "want". She finds the dog toy and puts it on the dog bed. The dog then presses "all done" "happy".

This is fucking incredible.

I'm not saving your child over my dog who can understand language and communicate with me if I taught it. LMFAO pls ignore i couldnt help myself just jokes cmon yall but forreal aint this some crazy cool shit?

But there really are people out there like that. Imagine if you knew for a fact someone chose their dog over your child. You just lost one of the biggest parts of your life over a dog. I bet someone in that position would lose it mentally and go on a rampage aimed at that very dog and its owner.

The more intelligent dog breeds actually have the vocabulary potential of a young toddler, they just cannot speak on their own, so it follows that if they were given the means to produce the words, they'd be able to communicate properly with us to an extent instead of just barking and whining at us.

So, how long until this reaches the market?
