I know this totally outs me as not a millenial, but I FUCKING HATE texting. Talking in person is so much better, being able to use voice inflection and expression to communicate is really important, especially when you're trying to forge an emotional connection (i.e. get a girl's pants off). A few words at a burst back and forth is a shitty substitute. Texting is for telling your buddies you're en route, and asking simple questions, and that's about it.

Truth, all truth. But ya, it's good for setting up plans, and a few other things.

But it really is trash as a principal form of communication.

It is also, I feel, one of the reasons younger types can't handle their shit.
