IDK anything about sportball

...

It's just that I've been watching a lot of sports bloopers videos and it always seems like the Rays are there... and/or Hernandez.

And in football terms...

I just saw a video about NCAA cheating... and, well, I didn't understand some of it.

Are college ballers not allowed to receive gifts from, like, Sportchek or whatever?

The rays are an interesting franchise.

mid 90s expansion team, in tampa bay. a market that attracts few fans, for a variety of reasons. ntil 2008 they were called the Devil Rays, and were bottom feeder trash finishing in last place or second to last almost every season. They are a small market team without a ton of money so they cant spend a lot. that is true today to a large degree....

Then in 2008 they changed their name to Rays, and made the world series some how and have been above average-great the whole time since just about.

They have been victim to a lot of no hitters and or perfect games lately so that is a highlight reel right there.

If ye had a billionz dollars would you be able to start an MLB franchise, or would that ruin, like, tournament tables or something like how it is in the NFL.

Well, it is set up even as it is.

Both conferences(american and national league) have the same exact structure.

3 divisions with 5 teams each, for 30 total teams.

Adding another team would mess stuff up but if we're talking money, certainly, MLB will make it work. The divisions used to be uneven as of around 10 years ago if i recall correctly. The NL central had 6 teams at one point(dropping Houston and moving them to the AL west to go down to 5 and be even), so it isnt really that big of a deal.

But we have awful franchises with shitty fans as it(Miami for one, TB as mentioned...cant draw crowds because of location and for whatever reason florida fans not showing up, even though they are a good team almost every year lately, Oakland...I forget who else) so it would really make more sense for a team to relocate somewhere else than add a new team
