I had been on 10mg for a month and now he moved me up to 20mg. I felt alright yesterday but today I'm feeling very shaky and dizzy. Feeling like things are moving in my feet too as I sit here. This is supposed to treat anxiety but now I feel like it's causing it.

Tell your psychiatrist about your side effects. If 10mg treats your symptoms as is, no reason to take more I would think

I take 40mg per day. Shit saves my life every day. No other antidepressants have been able to touch my depression and anxiety. An increase or decrease will definitely cause some mild side effects for a few days. Ride it out. You should be good.

Lexapro made me feel like shit. Especially the shakiness you mention... tell your provider about your symptoms.

Really, how long did you try taking it for? What makes it hard for me is that I was shaky before I ever went on this stuff anyways and people told me it's anxiety causing it.

When do you take it? I only take it before bed. Never had any issues.

Mornings. I'm also on a heart medicine called Diltiazem and I did move that one to nights and that seemed to help a lot.

I take 10 mg, but I've often forgotten to take one every day. The fact that I feel fine must mean my anxiety isn't very bad on average.

So that's a lot. Looking it up, they act like 20mg is the maximum. Do you drink alcohol and notice any problems with that? And what about your "sex drive" as people call it? Do you have trouble getting erections or climaxing?

Insurance companies bitch any time people take more than 20mg per day, even though it's cheap. Plenty of drugs are like that, despite doctors prescribing them differently. Insurance companies are shit, they'll eventually be forced to change but until then they'll do anything they can get away with (which is a fuckton because America is a shithole).

Well my psychologist prescribed the dose. Im kind of a special case (yayyyy). But no, alcohol still affects me much the same as it always has. And I dont have issues getting erections. If anything, it helped me in bed. I have an overactive mind and I used to not be able to really control my climax. Thats just my anecdotal evidence, though.

So I mentioned it feels like something's moving in my feet. This is still going on now. My right foot feels like it's vibrating. I wouldn't say pins and needles feeling. It's like I feel water flowing inside it. It coincides with increasing the dosage so I'm thinking it's that, but I wonder if it's something more serious. Looking it up it could be like a blocked artery and I'm feeling blood struggle to move through it. >_>

I used to. It made me numb to absolutely everything. Was no longer sad/anxious all the time but also couldn't be happy about anything.

Better than Wellbutrin though. That shit made it impossible to have an orgasm. I'd be rock hard and fucking for hours, literally until my dick was raw and it hurt for her, but just absolutely could not have an orgasm.

Just gave me insomnia. I'll admit it was pretty fucking neat being away for 40 hours at a time and sleeping maybe 5 hours and doing it again but being awake that long started to fuck with my shortterm memory unfortunately so I went off.

Like how? I've been having problems getting to sleep in that my body keeps jerking me up when I get close to it. Over and over again it's like my brain is sending me signals that it doesn't want to go to sleep so my whole body jerks.

Just wasn't tired. I wouldn't feel tired until around the second night after waking up and then I'd sleep from maybe 10pm to 3am and be fully refreshed

Dont ever google symptoms. Youre fine, bro. Might not be the right combination of medication for your specific issues, but youre okay right now. Just communicate to your doctor and hell try something else. Antidepressants are a trial and error kind of thing. When you find what works, though, its like night and day.

Yeah this was basically my experience with it. It was almost a decade ago now when I started taking it but quit after the third month or so due to both how completely sapped of emotion I became. Not to mention how quickly I noticed I started needing a higher dose and craving it when I wasn't using it. No thanks, I'll take my little bit of anxiety and work it out in other ways.

Best thing to do is explain your symptoms and concerns to your professional and not spend time looking up all the possibilities online, as if you're using it for anxiety and are concerned about it exacerbating that then you're only feeding that by diagnosing yourself.

I don't know, it's not going away, feels like it's getting more intense. What if it's a blood clot and I'm just gonna drop dead soon for not doing anything about it.
