and once again comparing different things is a staple of criticism

either way Citizen Kane in an extremely entertaining character study that put all the pioneering techniques of film together for the first time

Imo if a film forces you to suspend your disbelief it's not a good film

A good film makes you willing to suspend you sense of disbelief, it draws you in with its spell

box office success does not indicate quality
All it indicates is how much money it made

I'm sure there's stuff you enjoy that wasn't super profitable

i guess they can't be good because they don't have that capitalistic stamp of approval

And my "horrible opinions" are shared by tons of people including film buffs, and many respected critics and filmmakers and artists

BP is in such a weird spot. I feel like so many try to overrate it or underrate it.

For me its near the bottom of the top half of the MCU. Not as good as Avengers, Guardians, most Cap movies, and a couple others, but still better than late Iron Man, early Thor, Strange, Captain Marvel, and a handful of others.

Also I like how Killmonger rose to power through a trial by combat instead of having obtained a special object that gave him superpowers to be able to take over Wakanda.

Oh there was definitely a macguffin, but it became irrelevant by the end of the film.
