The purpose of lambasting SwSh and pushing for this Pokebrexit bandwagon is so that Gamefreak will stop phoning it in every new installment. They've been getting away with it every year but now that they're developing on a home console (in a broad sense), their pitfalls have been exposed. But things won't change if SwSh goes on to sell another 15 million copies.

So what do you intend to do OP? Get the game at the end of the month and condone Gamefreak's sloppiness? Or ignore the game and invest in this gamble to get Gamefreak to produce better?

The small amount of profit they will lose from dexiters will be eclipsed by the kiddos who parents buy them the game because Scorbunny is cute. You know it and I know it. So I'm buying it.

I skipped gen 7, and honestly, this looks like a good excuse to pick US/UM up instead, then just wait for the inevitable enhanced version of Sw/Sh. I also want to see if they've got the gall to try and sell back snap'd pokemon as DLC, at which point it'll be tough to resist giving a giant middle finger right back at 'em.

The average Pokemon player is in their 20's. If they drop out, Pokemon will lose a very noticeable chunk of their sales.
