That's not specific to any generation since baby boomers, and maybe even before. That's life in a capitalist first world country. Everyone that isn't independently wealthy will feel the burn of reality; that most of us will be forced to work to our death unless we accumulate a retirement ourselves. Boomers will probably be the last generation to see retirement via the social security that we all pay into, unless something is reformed. It sucks, but yeah, do it yourself. Nothing worse than feeling hopeless about something but never trying to change it. --- I think I need a drink.
