Guy uploads bad stuff to imgtc But also uploads other things that are used at GFs boards (you could use many methods to figure this out) For instance, upload an image, and its getting referral traffic from GameFaqs 10 seconds later. That's the guy's user account. (of course you'd want to have this happen several times to be totally sure) You usually wouldn't need any help from gamefaqs at all to figure out the user account. The webserver automatically logs every request so you look at the requests made around the time it was uploaded and see if any payloads are about the same size as the media in question and that's how you get their IP address.
